Purpose of Position:
The FP&A Manager develops, provides, and implements financial and business analysis on key metrics and KPIs, providing valuable data-driven insights to support decision-making. By reviewing past company performance and tracking economic and business trends, the FP&A Manager can accurately predict possible future outcomes and help devise plans to navigate those outcomes successfully Manager also oversee business forecasting, create financial budgets, and conduct performance-based analyses.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to gather input and create realistic financial targets.
- Prepare monthly financial forecasts based on historical performance, market trends, and business drivers.
- Prepare regular financial reports and dashboards for management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
- Monitor and analyze actual financial results against budgeted or forecasted performance.
- Identify and investigate significant variances, providing explanations for management to support decision-making.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track and communicate key financial and operational metrics.
- Conduct scenario planning exercises to evaluate the potential impact of external factors on the organization's financial health.
- Collaborate with other departments such as accounting, sales, and operations to gather relevant data and insights for financial analysis.
- Build P&L’s by Customer and Product to guide the business profitability
Minimum Skills Required:
- Bachelor in Finance, Business or Engineering.
- Masters in Finance or MBA (preferred)
- Cost Accounting
- Bilingual - English/Spanish
- Proficient in Excel
- ERP experience
- Process and analytical mind oriented
- Budgeting/Forecasting
- Communication and Collaboration
