Position Function and Scope:

As a Recruiting Specialist, you will be based at our manufacturing plant in Plover, WI. You will partner with our hiring managers to find incredible talent for Del Monte Foods. You will drive the hiring process from start to finish and ensure that every candidate has a great experience with regards to the hiring process. You will partner with our HRBPs and Hiring Managers while primarily supporting the recruiting needs for our plant locations in Plover, WI and Markesan, WI. 

 

The salary range for this role is: $71,128 - 120,831.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the Full Cycle recruiting process for assigned requisitions ensuring a best of class candidate experience.
  • Conduct in-depth needs analysis to understand hiring manager requirements, develop the sourcing strategy, manage the ATS applicant pipeline, pre-screen and interview candidates, schedule panel discussions, collaborate with HRBPs, hiring managers and Compensation to put together offer packages and take a consultative approach to hire top talent.
  • Prioritize searches based on hiring priorities and create continuous feedback mechanisms on status of searches to inform candidates, hiring managers, HRBPs and leadership.
  • Partner with our leaders and hiring managers to develop a deep understanding of current and future hiring needs within their business units.
  • Assist with developing creative and streamlined hiring processes for talent acquisition.
  • Drive inclusive recruiting practices and sourcing strategies by leveraging LinkedIn, Indeed and other sourcing platforms.
  • Support the hiring teams in making transparent hiring decisions and build a diverse talent pool for Del Monte Foods.
  • Provide candidates with appropriate information about the company along the way to ensure a smooth onboarding.
  • Ensure data integrity by updating candidate and requirement statuses in the ATS.
  • Create and updating talent related reports and providing weekly updates on searches to the leadership team
  • Build a candidate pipeline for hard to fill and high demand roles for the Del Monte Talent Network.
  • Build partnerships with local outreach organizations, workforce development agencies, colleges, technical training institutes to create a feeder pool of candidates for high volume and hard to fill roles.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition CoE to harmonize process, policy and implement best practices.
  • Under the guidance of the Talent Acquisition CoE, partner with local site leadership and L&D to collaborate with local military bases to build a pipeline of transitioning military personnel to fill Maintenance Mechanics, Electricians and PLC programming needs through participation in training programs that prepare them for a career with Del Monte Foods.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related fields.
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred
  • Sourcing certification preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish
  • 5+ years of full life cycle recruiting within a large corporation preferably in the CPG space, with proven ability to recruit and hire top-tier talent across a wide variety of functional areas including operations, warehousing, supply chain, cost accounting, purchasing, engineering, quality, environmental health and safety, continuous improvement and HR.
  • Experience recruiting for hourly positions in plant maintenance and electrical/PLC as well as frontline seasonal roles/
  • Experience recruiting for a mix of salaried, hourly and seasonal positions.
  • Strong track record in sourcing qualified candidates, market research, talent mapping, negotiating offers, and influencing management decision-making
  • Expertise using sourcing platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn and other industry specific job boards as well as social media sourcing.
  • Experience building a diverse pipeline of candidates and the perseverance to drive results
  • Experience using data, sharing current hiring / market trends with hiring teams around the talent ecosystem
  • Take ownership of personal development, proactively seeking feedback, coaching, mentoring, and training to continually improve skills and competencies
  • Foster highly engaged cross-functional relationships to maximize deliverables and results.
  • Actively educate others (up, down, across and outside organization) by sharing best practices and insights so that successes are broadly repeated
  • Ability to prioritize in a constantly changing environment, multi-tasking, dealing with ambiguity, exhibiting a high degree of emotional intelligence, and working independently.
