Job Summary:
The Manager, Corporate FP&A, will assist the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis in all centralized FP&A processes including monthly performance analysis, annual budgeting, and monthly forecasting processes. This role requires the ability to apply business and financial knowledge to analyze financials and drive operational performance.
Job Expectations:
- Contribute actively to financial forecast and planning processes in Adaptive Planning (input/load data, validate data accuracy, work on projections, refresh reports, analyze financial performance)
- Adaptive Planning administration (manage user permissions, create new versions, develop and maintain working sheets, ensure data integration, support model enhancements, create reports/dashboards, stay up to date with new features release)
- Monitor expenses against budget and communicate variances to department heads and executives for selected departments
- Identify & analyze headcount data and related impact on the payroll and employee benefits expenses
- Support management in financial reporting including annual budget, monthly performance, and executive presentations
- Strong partnership with the Accounting and BI teams to ensure timely and accurate data reporting.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis that provides a clear view of the business by translating complex data into actionable insights to support informed decision-making
- Work cross-functionally to implement process improvements and cost efficiencies
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed
- Manage and develop a team of Sr. Financial Analyst(s)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- A proactive approach to problem identification and remediation solutions, and excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interact and build relationships across all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently, complete work timely, and work well as a team member
- Experience in developing reports and dashboards
- Proponent of developing a data driven culture and supporting other team members
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organization skills and ability to respond to ad-hoc requests
Equipment Knowledge:
- Experience with FP&A software Adaptive Planning (Must-Have)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
- Experience with SAP, and Tableau preferred
Experience Requirements:
A minimum of five (5) plus years of progressive experience in a Corporate FP&A function. Big Four public accounting experience preferred. Supervisory experience is a plus. Public company and Consumer Goods/E-commerce industry preferred.
Education Requirements:
BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred
