The Go to Market FP&A Manager will play a critical role in by providing broad-based support to Sales in support of our strategic initiative to drive greater excellence and effectiveness in our sales organization. The ideal candidate is both strategic and action oriented and thrives on being part of a global, fast-paced, fun, and results-driven team.

Reporting to the Go to Market Director of FP&A, the candidate will serve as a key member of FP&A Management with frequent interaction with our Commercial senior management teams across our US and international markets. The candidate will be able to quickly develop a strong understanding of the drivers of growth and profitability within our SaaS technology business. The role holder will take ownership of all sales KPI reporting including ARR (annual recurring revenue) and unit budgeting, forecasting, analytical models and ultimately highlighting areas of potential opportunity for the business. Supported by a team of finance analysts, the candidate will need to provide guidance and support to their direct reports and also liaise with the other commercial analysts across the broader business and various budget owners to understand the main drivers of performance and develop action plans with senior management. This role will be the main point of contact for all sales senior stakeholders responsible for all aspects of the sales performance cycle.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the provision of data and models for the entire range of activities associated with the planning cycle from long-range planning models to forecasts and annual operating budgets.

  • Own entirety of bookings planning function, including sales capacity planning and allocations by product, order type and revenue mix.

  • Drive process of moving existing recurring reporting into automated systems. Push to simplify, standardize and automate where feasible.

  • Lead market analysis for new trends to understand the most important drivers of growth and the potential scale of the opportunities.

  • Delivering analysis of B2B sales, bookings by product, recurring revenue and 'one-time' bookings revenue forecasting as well as profitability analysis.

  • Producing routine KPI, operational reporting and variance analyses for presentation to the business unit leadership team. Ensure that management has up to date information to assist with business reviews and decision making throughout the year

  • Supporting any analysis required to evaluate investments and new strategic priorities including collation and modelling of relevant data and associated KPIs

  • Lead headcount management across all of sales organization

  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis as required, developing analyses and findings to support presentations to senior leadership.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5+ years experience within FP&A preferably gained in the technology sector. Exposure to SaaS related businesses and technology models would be a distinct advantage.

  • The ability to understand new business models quickly and what the important economic drivers are.

  • Experience of working in a fast paced, challenging environment and is someone who thrives in that dynamic.

  • Is comfortable dealing with data and providing accurate information in a simple and engaging way.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact with people at various levels of the organization.

  • A system savvy individual, experience with financial systems, data visualization tools and CRMs; in depth knowledge of Qlik, Workday and Hyperion will enable the role holder to hit the ground running.

  • Superior Excel skills, including strong modelling skills and an ability to work with a variety of software functions and data sources.

The starting base pay is $101,900.00 to $132,800.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
