SunCloud Health is seeking a Financial Coordinator!
Please note that this is a hybrid position, but you may need to come onsite to our Northbrook office as-needed for meetings.

A Financial Coordinator shares the common goal and mission of SunCloud Health as part of a motivated team that can work in a fast-paced environment providing the best customer service to our patients while supporting the treatment team. Knowledge of insurance benefits and communicating with patients regarding financial responsibility is a priority in the Business Office. We will always work as a team to ensure accounts are being followed up and payments are made in a timely manner.
Job responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Work directly with the Intake team on potential new admits.
- Check Salesforce for completed VOB (Verification of Benefit Form) and review for in-network status and benefits.
- Inform intake department of any special concerns/issues with patient’s insurance that might prevent/delay admission.
- Speak with patient and/or family regarding benefits, collect copays, DED and co-insurance. Collect payment/payment information, set up payment schedule for monthly payments, and send out email.
- Review aging report by insurance to identify unpaid/outstanding claims.
- Contact each insurance company to check on claim status and resolve issues with claims that have not processed or have processed incorrectly.
- Collection calls- email statements

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
