As a Branch Coordinator at our High School Branch (Oswego) you will model and teach banking to High School students. As the Financial Service Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for members, helping them with their financial needs and answering any questions they may have. You will play a pivotal role in the success of ECU and can make a positive impact on High School students and members' lives.

PCU Responsibilities (during school year roughly 20 hours a week):
- Manage and run Panther Credit Union (PCU), a branch located in Oswego high school, and used to teach high school students banking and financial readiness.
- Train students to function as Tellers, understand basic credit union knowledge and to promote the credit union.
Financial Service Representative Responsibilities (when you are not at PCU you will be at one of our other branches as an FSR):
- Provide excellent customer service to all members
- Process transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers
- -Educate members on our products and services
- -Open new accounts and assist with loan applications
- Balance cash drawer daily
- Resolve member inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Follow proper procedures and protocols to ensure security of member information and funds
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Schedule/Location:
- PCU in Oswego High School is open 9 am to 2 pm a couple days a week during the school year.
- Available Monday thru Friday 8:45 to 5 (at times 6) – around PCU hours.
- Saturday's 7:45 am to 1 pm
- Available to work at any of our 5 locations (Oswego, North Aurora, Yorkville, Aurora and Montgomery)
- Ability to work with high school students, mentoring and teaching
- Previous credit union or banking experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations tactfully
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Cash Handling skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
