POSITION SUMMARYThe Financial Assistant I process data entry and performs cashier functions for students and non-students. This position is responsible for processing and maintaining student forms and records. In addition, it serves as a point of contact and customer service representative for the Office of Student Accounts. This role is part-time working 20 hours per week and is eligible for benefits.Key Responsibilities:

• Processes and reconciles all data entry, cash receipts and reports.
• Process, manage and complete various office functions
• Provide professional receptionist and cashier services.
• Assists the Director with various projects.

• High school diploma or general education degree or GED
• One year or more of work experience
• Champions diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Acute detail when it comes to planning and organizing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in the ability to be adaptable to changing work priorities; excellent individual efficiency.
• The ability to communicate effectively and build relationships within the department and with campus partners.

• Previous experience with student records
• Previous experience with processing deposits
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
