Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for a Financial Analyst!
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for a wide range of activities including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This includes data analysis to extract insights and recommendations for management and collaborating with departments for operational success.
All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices and procedures.
Job Duties
- Assist in the preparation of the property operating and capital budgets as well as forecasts.
- Prepare and analyzes capital projects, including status tracking, variance analysis, and ROI analysis.
- Analyze hotel benchmarks and recommend actions to improve.
- Aid in the maintenance, training and utilization of property BI tools.
- Assist in the compilation of monthly property reporting packages.
- Drive financial performance through review and monitoring of departmental financial performance and providing feedback to leadership teams.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Sunseeker Resorts performs criminal background checks on all candidates. - Bachelor’s degree required, concentration in finance, math or accounting preferred
- Minimum of one year of applicable experience in hospitality industry in a hotel/resort setting
- Strong understanding of statistics, budgets, forecasts and financial statements
- Experience with ProfitSword, SAP, Fourth Adaco or PowerBI preferred
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Other Minimum Requirements
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Fully competent in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong leadership abilities, sound judgment, superior problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization
- Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines
- Excellent organizational, analytical and project management skills, with particular attention to quality and detail
- Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
