The Accounts Receivable Analyst plays a critical role by discovering, communicating, and resolving all payment-related issues within his/her assigned portfolio of IDN accounts. This internally motivated, organized, and results-driven Analyst must strive for all assigned accounts to pay current by analyzing relevant customer invoicing and payment data, executing relevant action plans, and communicating clear expectations internal and external customers. His/her progress and performance will be measured using relevant accounts receivable metrics.
This position can be remote, with East Coast time zone preferred.
Responsibilities- Review assigned IDN accounts daily for action planning on all past due invoices
- Communicate directly with IDN counterparts (AP and Purchasing) to set expectations/deadlines for action
- Lead dispute resolution process with all internal teams by taking ownership and maximizing accountability
- Ensure all accounts are 'clean' and maintained to minimize confusion and maximize collections
- Escalate and communicate issues preventing collection to supervisor and sales team as necessary
- Recommend accounts for credit hold when all other avenues have been exhausted
- Prepare and drive weekly portfolio and metrics review with supervisor for continuous improvement and training
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of experience in an analytical role that required deriving insights/action plans from large data sets
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (pivot table, VLOOKUP, IF statements, etc.) required
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, JDE, NetSuite, etc.) as a user a significant plus
