Job Summary
The JDE Developer will identify solutions for business processes and system issues enabling positive business operations. This position requires expertise in JD Edwards and Oracle SQL, troubleshooting issues, executing configuration, ensuring functional specification development, and managing testing and application problem-solving.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in prioritizing IT initiatives based on business needs and requirements
- Analyze needs of the user/business & provide technical support to IT such as programming, coding, designing, implementing, and debugging programs for continuous improvement
- Develops user-oriented solutions, which interface with existing applications utilizing the most efficient software tool(s) for each solution.
- Assists with set-up, testing, and support of hardware installations
- Ensures ERP system integrity, assisting in scheduling, installation, & record-keeping of technological upgrades
- Designs systems, programs and coordinates the review of specification, user sign-off process, and the development of user manuals
- Train end users
- Actively participate in JD Edwards and EDI system design and testing through monitoring and improving daily functions
- Assist in researching, identifying, developing, and implementing the latest IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
- Promote and strengthen processes and controls by working with senior leadership to identify, develop, implement, and monitor the effectiveness of process improvement projects
- Lead cross-functional working groups to improve business processes by studying current practices and proposing modifications, taking an end-to-end perspective with a focus on improved service and operational excellence

- Advanced technical and documentation skills
- Programming using a variety of tools to include JD Edwards Development (JDE) Tools (Reports Design, Forms Design, etc.), Oracle BI Publisher, Power BI, Azure, Oracle SQL Developer
- Minimum of five years’ experience with JD Edwards 9.0+
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent on the job experience
Other job Details:
- Salary Range: $110,000-$125,000
- Status: Full-time, exempt
- Reports to: Director of Information Systems
