FAME is seeking a Financial Aid Consultant to assist clients - colleges, universities, and technical schools with Title IV Compliance related inquiries. The ideal candidate will have a strong Financial Aid background including Title IV regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer institutional inquiries relating to Title IV regulations
• Maintain knowledge of Federal regulations for Title IV
• Perform specific projects for institutions
• Complete file review of student packages for FAME Financial Aid processing clients
• Complete R2T4 calculations for FAME R2T4 clients
• Complete verification packages for FAME verification clients
• Show good customer service skills and maintain a professional manner
• Maintain a team player approach to co-workers

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience in Financial Aid, including Title IV regulations, awarding/packaging of federal Title IV funds
• HS Diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Zendesk experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• Proficient in MS Office products to include Word and Excel
• Demonstrated computational skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
