The Cost &Budget Consultant/Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for leading the annual budgeting, forecasting and cost allocation process, calculating allocation results and providing standard and ad-hoc cost analysis. May be responsible for cost or budget functions only or a combination of both.

The Cost &Budget Consultant/Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for leading the annual budgeting, forecasting and cost allocation process, calculating allocation results and providing standard and ad-hoc cost analysis. May be responsible for cost or budget functions only or a combination of both.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Leads the annual and monthly cost allocation budget processes.
- Leads the quarterly forecast process and supports annual budget process.
- Collects and balances statistical data.
- Identifies and implements system enhancements and process improvements.
- Prepares and presents ad-hoc analyses of financial data for planning, modeling and forecasting.
- Prepares board and operating committee packages.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires BA/BS in finance, accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years directly related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- MBA, CPA and/or CMA preferred.
- Cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience preferred.
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications skills preferred.
- Excellent analytical ability and strong PC skills strongly preferred.
- Advanced Excel, data mining large data sets, and PowerPoint experience strongly preferred.
