The Director of Finance - Decision Support oversees teams supporting enterprise-wide processes, including strategic pricing, cost accounting, Impact Intermountain & System Optimization analytics/reporting, and service line financial analytics/reporting.
Oversees the following enterprise-wide financial planning applications, analytics, and processes:
- Supports financial analysis and reporting for Impact Intermountain, System Optimization, and other improvement initiatives
- Partners with Clinical Programs and operations in the development of service line reporting and financial analysis
- Partner with Enterprise Analytics team to developing enterprise-wide reporting assets
- Oversees Intermountain's cost accounting/management processes, application, and reports.
- Directs the development, deployment and maintenance of the cost accounting application. Oversees the development of cost management dashboards and reports (e.g., Service Lines, DRGs, Physicians), and continuously evaluates cost data against key quality and satisfaction measures
- Coordinates with senior leadership to establish and implement Intermountain's system-wide pricing strategy. Coordinates with finance personnel throughout the annual pricing and revenue rate increase process to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Partners with operations and payer contracting to oversee the annual pricing study process to ensure prices are standard, transparent, and correct
- Collaborates with revenue cycle, operations, and managed care to manage the process for establishing competitive and standard prices for new charge codes
- Oversees the development and implementation of pricing training provided to finance and other staff
EDUCATION
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, required.
Preferred: Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field strongly preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Required: Minimum of Ten (10) Years of progressively responsible financial administrative experience in an integrated healthcare system with at least Five (5) Years in a leadership capacity required.

$65.75 - $101.50
