Position Summary:
Reports to the Sr. Vice President, CFO. Responsible for overseeing all finance functions relating to MTC Job Corps centers.
Essential Functions:
Prepare and develop policies and procedures for financial reporting at Job Corps facilities.
Monitor center financials, reconciliations, reporting, etc.
Facilitate and support student pay card processes.
Perform periodic reviews/audits at Job Corps facilities.
Monitor Job Corps centers for timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting for both internal and external needs.
Facilitate and coordinate training of Job Corps finance personnel for all financial applications.
Support finance functions during center transitions.
Identify and recommend process improvements across the operations.
Coordinate with operational management to address concerns and improve center performance.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree in accounting.
Five years of related experience, three of which must be supervisory.
An Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is strongly preferred.
Must be computer proficient and have advanced experience in computer application software, i.e. Excel, Word, and other business software technology.
Must be willing and able to travel.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
