Position Description:
Reports to the Senior Director, Finance. Responsible for overseeing all finance functions relating to medical operations contracts.
Essential Functions:
Oversee all financial functions relating to medical operations contracts.
Prepare and develop policies and procedures for financial reporting at the medical facilities.
Manage the month-end close and financial reporting process.
Ensure customer billings are timely and monitor receivables.
Conduct financial reviews and analyses as requested.
Prepare and oversee the annual facility budget process and monitor monthly budget variance reports.
Prepare reports and documents to support external audits.
Support financial analyses and pricing for new contract opportunities/proposals.
Communicate and coordinate with various departments on operations, legal or contract-related matters.
Support and coordinate with medical operations team regarding financial decisions and analyses.
Identify business process improvements and recommend changes to facilities and staff.
Supervise accounting functions for new business lines as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree in accounting.
Six years of related experience, three of which must be supervisory.
Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license strongly preferred.
Must be computer proficient and have advanced experience of computer application software, i.e. Excel, Word, and other business software technology.
Must be willing and able to travel.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
