Director Of Finance And Accounting

Mesa Bridge Capital, a private lender in the real estate industry, is seeking a Director of Finance and Accounting to join our team in Lehi, Utah. As Director of Finance and Accounting, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting of our management company and real estate funds.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the preparation of financial statements and investor reports for our real estate funds
• Ensuring timely and accurate recording of all accounting transactions, including fund subscriptions, redemptions, and capital calls
• Coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely completion of audits and tax filings
• Developing and maintaining fund accounting policies and procedures
• Reviewing work performed by external accountants and providing guidance and feedback as needed
• Assisting in the preparation of fund budgets and forecasts
• Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Providing excellent customer service to our investors, responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA preferred, MAcc preferred)
• 5+ years of professional experience, including work for public accounting firm
• Experience in fund accounting, preferably in real estate private equity or alternative investments
• Strong understanding of GAAP and Accounting principles related to real estate funds
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to review work for accuracy
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges

Pay/Benefits

• Total Compensation $160,000 - $200,000
• Salary of $120,000 - $160,000
• Expected bonus of $30,000 - $50,000
• Health & Dental insurance, 100% of premium paid by Company
• Paid time off
