Sentrillion is seeking to hire a full-time Field Maintenance Supervisor for our northern border locations. Successful candidates shall reside in the northern United States to be able to travel to northern state field facilities.
The Field Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of Field Maintenance operations and Field Maintenance personnel for a specified region of operations; reports directly to the Maintenance Operations Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of Field Maintenance operations and Field Maintenance personnel for a specified region of operations; reports directly to the Maintenance Operations Manager.
- Directly supervises all Area Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) within a defined region; prepares and conducts subordinate performance reviews.
- Manages Nationwide Operations Resource Management System (NORMS) maintenance operations data for a specified region daily; assists the Maintenance Operations Manager in data collection, analysis and reporting of maintenance data supporting internal and external directives.
- Selects, hires, trains, supervises, and develops Field Maintenance personnel.
- Manages tools and equipment assigned to the AMTs.
- Supports Field Maintenance personnel with technical knowledge; provides input on software development to support these operations.
- Provides subordinate technical training requirements to the Maintenance Operations Manager; uses the company training portal to track mandatory subordinate training requirements.
- Schedules and coordinates regional maintenance operations; creates, publishes and manages regional maintenance schedules.
- Ensures subordinates complete reports, logs, expense reports, and timesheets in accordance with established suspense dates; Reviews and approves subordinates' timesheets, expense reports, and personal requests.
- Manages resources supporting a 24/7/365 help desk support center.
- Reports all progress and problems to the Operations Maintenance Manager; provides up-to-date information to Field Operations leadership as directed.
- Manages and controls maintenance operations in accordance with company Quality Management established business processes, policies and procedures; ensures maintenance operations are conducted in accordance with published project plans and service level agreements.
- Provides input for maintenance cost analyses for bids and proposals for potential contracts and projects.
- Interfaces with customers daily to coordinate work, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction.
- Communicates specified and required information as directed to internal and external stakeholders through approved methodologies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS or BA degree from an accredited institution, 4 years of experience in advanced communications, electronics, and electrical troubleshooting skills may be substituted for degree.
- Must possess knowledge and have experience with the following: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Extensive understanding of data networks, digital video cameras and recorders, fiber optics, security surveillance, and basic electronics fundamentals.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year first line supervisory experience.
ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical information in an easily understood manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact at all levels of the organization and with customers.
- Prior experience in a leadership role; able to guide and motivate subordinates directly and indirectly.
- Strong detail-oriented skills; able to multi-task and change priorities quickly.
- Prior experience with MS Office Pro Suite, project scheduling, and database applications.
- Ability to work designated schedule, as well as maintain attendance and punctuality.
- Valid driver's license; ability to meet the Company's Safe Driving Requirements policy.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain at least a DoD Secret clearance and CBP Full Access clearance
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
- Able to work in outdoor environment exposed to varying high or low temperatures
- Must have sufficient physical agility to walk, climb, stand, crawl, and stretch on an occasional basis
- Able to travel (approximately 25% of the time) by plane to remote US locations
