We're recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisorfor our new extruded plastics building products manufacturing plant in Boise, ID.

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to supervise maintenance personnel within the plant, PM program compliance to ensure critical spare parts are identified and stocked, order department supplies, approve time sheets, schedule overtime as well as shift work, participate in 6S (Including Safety) and Kaizen initiatives, and assist in other tasks as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Manage preventative maintenance schedules on a daily, weekly, monthly, yearly basis as needed - ensuring preventative maintenance tasks are scheduled, completed, and reviewed to ensure efficient operation of the equipment and prevent ware and unplanned breakdowns.
  • Role model and drive all plant safety procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of others. Fill out near miss and accident reports as needed.
  • Request spare parts inventory and needs of department based on risk to minimize downtime
  • Ensure the machines are running efficiently and are producing parts according to customer specifications
  • Manage outside contractors to make sure they are AZEK Company safety compliant, have all PPE, work instructions, and tasks clearly defined before start of work.
  • Schedule and approve employee time sheets and schedule overtime by shifts as needed - call off notifications and management of them to ensure shift coverages with call ins.
  • Participates 6S and Kaizen initiatives to better manufacturing efficiency - works with technicians on MA (Machine Availability) and coordinates general housekeeping duties in the Manufacturing area
  • Completes necessary maintenance paperwork as needed.
  • Work with management on budgets, forecasts, and financial planning as needed and does any other tasks as assigned.
  • Provides leadership direction and oversight to the Maintenance Team to ensure safety, quality manufactured product and equipment reliability
  • Practices strong engagement with direct reports and team members including accepting diversity of ideas and thoughts, sharing responsibility for success, demonstrating honesty and integrity, helping employees solve problems and showing respect.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.Associates Degree in related field preferred.
Experience: 7+ years in maintenance with minimum 3 years leadership experience in manufacturing production environment.
Compensation for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The annual salary for this role is $76,000 to $94,000.In addition to base salary, we offer generous bonus and incentive opportunities that significantly increase earning potential.
