Field Accounting Clerk

We have a contract opportunity for a Field Accounting Clerk in Huntington WV. This position is approved for 6 months and may be extended. The client is a leader in energy industry.
Pay Rate: $25.00 to $29.00/Hr.
Summary:
Responsibilities include booking daily transactions for purchases, production, transloading and sales. Distributing daily reports to operations, third parties and management. Distribute monthly reports to the Business Financial Analysts at corporate for close. Perform daily inventory validation to book the most accurate account of all inventories at the specific dock. Pay all vendors for tons and quality by contract. Calculate Section 29 Tax Credit at the end of each accounting period. Validate all certificates from independent labs. Provide customer service. Any additional work or projects that they may be given.
Qualifications:
B.S. Accounting degree a plus or related business degree preferred or relevant experience.
Excel and computer experience preferred.
Effectively manage issues and situations with minimal supervision
Work well with operations personnel as well as corporate personnel.
Plan work to meet daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Communicate effectively with customers.
Must demonstrate strong analytical ability.
Ability to identify business problems and define corrective actions
