Accounting Clerk

Toothman Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Accounting Clerk to join our team at our Toothman Ford location in Grafton, WV. Candidates must be comfortable working with computer programs like Microsoft Office (knowledge of Dealertrack is a plus but not required), possess strong attention to detail, self-motivation and the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Enter vendor invoices and process weekly payments in the A/P system
• Enter debits and credits into software applications accurately
• Verify and reconcile expense reports and credit card statements
• Reconcile and process bank deposits
• Reconcile processed payments through verification of entries and other supporting documents to balances.
• Maintain and reconcile schedules, daily, weekly, and monthly
• Assist with monthly and annual closing process
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Controller

Qualifications:

• Automotive accounting office experience preferred, but not required
• Dealertrack software experience preferred, but not required
• Must have strong accounting skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Self-starter that is open to change and able to handle demanding environment
• High degree of problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Pay is commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
