Job Purpose and Impact
The Farm Relationship Manager- Cotton (South-East Region) will be responsible for helping to shape and create new customer offerings and identify potential new customers. In this role, you will leverage broad supply chain access and robust risk management solutions combined with specialty and sustainability strategies to create market value for customers through a customer focused approach.
This is a home office position within the South-East Region: South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia. Relocation assistance is provided for this role and up to 50% travel is required to cover the area of responsibility. Key Accountabilities
Identify potential accounts and gain in depth working knowledge of business strategies, profit expectations, risk management strategies and local market drivers. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and help shape and create the portfolio of solutions to consistently meet customer needs within all account segments. Partner with internal team members to shape and develop standardized offerings in areas of market access, risk management solutions, specialized supply chains, and sustainability. Engage with customers in a manner that promotes an open and consistent flow of information from the company to enable the effectiveness and efficiency of solution offerings and execution. Build and deliver on annual customer business plans that are aligned with the business strategy and deliver profitable growth. Consistently identify and communicate customer insights back into the business unit to be utilized to create and enhance standardized customer segment value propositions, as well as overall business strategy development. Provide mentorship to other members of the origination and commercial organization, be coachable and adaptable to change and assist with education and training sessions in industry marketing and sales effectiveness. Self-started mentality with the willingness to receive and give coaching when needed. Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned.

#FGB Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR equivalent experience. Minimum of four years of related work experience in any of these areas: Sales, Commodity or Cotton. Ability to travel up to 50%. Valid driver’s license in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in cotton sales/marketing. Agriculture sales or commodity trading experience. Strong commercial and financial acumen. Ability to understand basic cotton industry supply chain production principles including factors critical for sustainability. Experience and capability to translate complex data and insights into a format that is easily understood by our customers.
