Department Information
Scheller College of Business undergraduate program ranked top 20 in the nation for a third year in a row (U.S. News & World Report). The Evening MBA program was recognized as No. 1 in the state (U.S. News & World Report), and the Jones MBA Career Center remained top five in the world for the sixth year in a row (The Financial Times). In addition, Scheller's undergraduate and MBA specialties in business analytics, information systems, operations, and supply chain were ranked top 10 in the nation (U.S. News & World Report).


Job Summary


Develop and maintain strategic partnerships aimed at enhancing revenue streams for custom non-degree education programs. Oversee and direct personnel and activities that support efforts related to program design, delivery, and unit business development. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. This position will interact on a regular basis with: faculty, staff, and external stakeholders. This position typically will advise and counsel: faculty, staff, and external stakeholders. This position will supervise: N/A

Responsibilities


Job Duty 1 -
Manage, identify and develop relationships with existing and potential clients to identify their needs in order to generate additional business opportunities.
Job Duty 2 -
Collaborate with instructional faculty to provide program direction to non-degree operations and ensure program design supports client delivery and learning needs.
Job Duty 3 -
Direct social learning initiatives and ensure consistent integration of virtual capabilities in existing programs.
Job Duty 4 -
Lead and direct personnel and activities aimed at enhancing revenue streams for custom non-degree education programs.
Job Duty 5 -
Consult with client organization personnel to determine specific educational needs and translate into the design of program curricula.
Job Duty 6 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications


Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience
Five to seven years of job related experience

Preferred Qualifications


  • 10 years' experience in sales, business development, and corporate relationship management
  • Experience partnering with outside vendors.
  • Experience with C-suite level Corporate partners.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities


SKILLS
Strong business acumen; ability to build strategic relationships; excellent verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail and overall program management skills.
