What this job involves – The Facility Manager is responsible for ensuring the proper operation of all aspects of a facility and acts as the first point of contact for customers and guests. This role involves establishing, operating, and maintaining a comprehensive Facility Management program to oversee the operations and maintenance of the building, building systems, and equipment. The Facilities Manager also assists property managers with routine property management operations and performs general facilities duties to ensure the smooth functioning of the facility.
What is your day to day?
Assist Facility Management Team and Client with tactical planning, coordination, and scheduling of various site activities
Manage and maintain two warehouse facilities within walking distance
Act as a single point of contact for daily facility management operations and client service-related reports
Supervise both technical and administrative staff to ensure performance and morale
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and facility standards within managed facilities
Develop and implement energy conservation initiatives while documenting savings
Vendor management related tasks
Establish and enforce office policies and procedures, handle front office reception and guest check-in, manage conference room bookings, and organize large staff events/meetings
All other duties and tasks as assigned
Desired experience and technical skills
Required
Business acumen including financial planning and analysis. Must be able to manage within budget and time constraints
Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
5+ years facility management experience with corporate or third party service provider
BS or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management
Estimated compensation for this position is: $80,000 - $115,000
