- Assess, diagnose, and treat residents in skilled nursing facilities. You will have the opportunity to provide mental health services to a diverse and medically complex population, including geriatric patients, patients with disabilities, and those with complex psychiatric histories.
- Maintain an active caseload and work with the team to maintain a referral stream.
- Develop relationships with facility staff and provide consultation e.g. curbside consult, in-services as needed, etc.
- Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.
- Document-based on medical necessity and in accordance with Medicare standards.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D., PsyD) in ClinicalPsychology (required)
- Current and valid California state license as aPsychologist (required)
- Medicare Provider eligibility (required, ourin-house billing team assists with this)
- Ability to be placed on 3rd party insurerpanels (required, we assist with this process)
- Strong clinical background in evidence-basedpractices
- Telehealth experience and/or willingness tolearn and utilize modality
