Terra Nova Cabins is looking for a Property & Maintenance Manager who is self-motivated and able to work both independently and with others to monitor the scope of work and pace of completion of tasks. We’d love to have someone who can effectively manage related responsibilities and efficiently communicate with staff.
+ Responsibility Summary
The Property & Maintenance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operations and upkeep of the property. Maintain in good working order and condition all areas of cabin utilities and basic functions.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, in areas such as guest cabins, public areas, parking areas.
- Perform snow removal.
- General cabin maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Perform general vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
- Responsible in participating in creating, implementing, and measuring the success of annual Operation strategies and growth.
- Ability to give high priority to customer service; ability to solve problems.
- Responsible for overnight emergency calls.

- Must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Work safely with required tools & equipment
- Ability to lift and or move up to 25 – 50 pounds
- Reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- Close vision, peripheral vision
+ Education and Experience
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)
- Must have valid Driver’s License
+ Work Environment
- Outdoors, exposed to potential temperature extremes of heat and / or cold at least 25% of the time.
- Frequently work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
- Responsibilities frequently require an adjusted work schedule, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet resort operating demands.
