Role:
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assists with general maintenance of all credit union properties.
- Responsible for regularly inspecting credit union offices for minor repairs, i.e. replacement of light bulbs, ceiling tiles, irrigation, pressure washing, etc.
- Responsible for general repair work as needed at all credit union offices.
- Responsible for maintaining a record log of all equipment. Pick up and deliver credit union equipment for repairs.
- Responsible for recording all expenses and receipts and forwarding to the Building Facilities Manager monthly.
- Perform general repair on HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry.
- Responsible for relocating all furniture and equipment as needed.
- Responsible for inspecting offices for safety/security issues and report to Building Facilities Manager.
- Responsible for maintenance and cleaning of company vehicles and properties.
- Make daily pickup & deliveries to the local branches with work and supplies.
- Responsible for maintenance and ordering of company beverages and equipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience: One to three years of similar or related experience.
- Education: A high school education or GED.
- Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization.
- Other Skills: Knowledge of BSA/OFAC compliance and be able to assist members with questions concerning BSA. Complete yearly training.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to identify technical defects in electrical units and other equipment in a facility. Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines and coordinate work functions with workers and vendors. Ability to handle vendors professionally.
- Knowledge of BSA/OFAC compliance and be able to assist members with questions concerning BSA.
- Complete yearly training.
