FCS Facility Services has been delivering quality Janitorial Services, Construction Clean-Up, and Facility Maintenance with a dedicated team of highly trained and specialized personnel.Our team provides services to commercial office facilities, airports, educational facilities, government facilities, hotels, medical facilities, parking garage maintenance and pressure washing to name a few.FCS has been a pioneer in sustainable and environmentally responsible cleaning. Since adopting a green cleaning program our main focus has been on employee training and efficient cleaning techniques.

Overview*
As a Operations Assistant Manager, your role would involve supporting the Director of Operations in various aspects of assisting in administrative, logistical, and coordination tasks and the overall day-to-day activities of the business. Your responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Assist in managing daily administrative tasks such as schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the operations team.
  • Staff Supervision and Training: Assisting in supervising and training employees to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities and perform their duties effectively.
  • Resource Management:Perform unscheduled contract site compliance inspections as needed on equipment, uniforms, PPE and supplies.
  • Data Entry and Analysis: Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to update databases and spreadsheets. Assist in collecting, compiling and running reports for operational data.
  • Support Operational Projects: Assist/collaborate on new projects and with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Customer Service: Assisting in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries and maintaining positive relationships with clients or customers.
  • Communication: Facilitating communication between different departments or teams within the organization to ensure smooth collaboration and information sharing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally for business-related purposes.
  • Work over night when we need it for training purposes Local areas only.
  • Ability to travel to other sites in different locations and states.
