The Opportunity:

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of Facilities and properties by completing routine and preventative maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Performs minor and major repairs or general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment at various sites.
• Assists to ensure all facilities are in working order and maintained.
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as needed or scheduled.
• Maintains and upholds the quality and standards of the organization. Adheres to customer service standards.
• Keeps and completes records for all maintenance and service activities conducted.
• Interacts effectively with other and all departments to ensure proper functioning of all systems in the facilities.
• Demonstrates safe work and risk management practices. Communicates and enforces all safety and security issues.
• Ensures that confidentiality of data collected and stored is maintained.
• Effectively sets priorities and meets deadlines.
• Frequent travel is required from site to site in a company vehicle to complete job duties.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to effectively use various power and hand tools
• Physical ability to complete required duties, including climbing, lifting, bending, reaching, and laying on ground
• Current unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record
• Basic mathematical principles
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
