Duties include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Mix ingredients to create classic and innovative cocktails
- Ensure that the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
- Check customers' identification to verify their age and prevent underage drinking
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately (Toast POS)
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing any concerns or complaints
- Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales revenue
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders with drink orders
Skills required for an eligible candidate:
- Strong knowledge of mixology and drink recipes
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and inventory
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques, as well as a TIPS or similar food/service certification.
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively
Note: Previous experience as a bartender for a minimum of two years is required. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills and enthusiasm for the role.
