Experienced Medical Primary Care Front Office Associate

We are looking for a top-notch person to round out our team with experience with Internal Medicine.

Responsible for all Front Office functions including patient registration, check-in, check-out, collecting co-payments, deductibles, and any other patient owed account balance at both check-in and check-out, appointment scheduling, answering We are seeking an experienced candidate in Internal Medicine to join our team. The role will be responsible for all Front Office functions, including patient registration, appointment scheduling, check-in, check-out, collecting co-payments, deductibles, and any other patient owed account balance, answering and directing incoming telephone calls, filing, and maintaining medical records. The candidate will also ensure compliance with all necessary patient paperwork, update and file them into the respective patient records. The role requires proficiency in the use of computers, telephone, fax machine, copier, calculator, adding machine, credit card processing machine, document scanner, and other relevant office equipment. Knowledge of Epic EMR is necessary.

The required education for this role includes a high school diploma or general education (GED), while a graduation from a vocational or other technical school with training or apprenticeship is preferred. Certification in Front Office Administration is also preferred. The candidate must have a minimum of three years of experience in Medical Office Front Office and/or Medical Physician Practice Billing.

Paid time off (PTO) is equal to three weeks (120 hours), and there are eight paid holidays. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with staggered employee schedules from 7:00 am through 5:30 pm as needed.
