Job Summary:
Parts Data Entry Representatives are responsible for processing orders, modifications, and escalates challenges across a number of communication channels to departments for resolutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Promptly and accurately process customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
- Manages and prioritizes multiple concerns.
- Provides appropriate and correct information to incoming customer order status.
- Maintains a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Responds promptly to customer inquiries.
- Able to learn quickly and move on from both success and failure.
- Works closely with the scheduling/parts department (as appropriate) to resolve open orders to ensure shipment timelines are met or exceeded.
- Provides timely feedback to company management regarding challenges or order entry concerns.
- Documents the patterns and queries that may indicate a larger problem with the product or service that needs to be resolved.
- Provides feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
- High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience (preferred)
- Focus on quality and attention to detail
- Computer experience and aptitude
- Problem solving skills, and the ability to think under pressure
- Ability to multi-tasking
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
