Executive Operations & Governance Program Manager

This role is aligned to HP's Supply Chain and will provide Executive Operations & Governance support to the Chief Supply Chain Officer. HP's Supply Chain spans across 34 distribution centers and 69 manufacturing locations in nearly 170 countries, shipping over 150 million products every year. The Executive Operations & Governance Business Planner will report to the Chief of Staff of HP's Supply Chain organization but will work side by side with the CSCO in driving operational efficiency and effectiveness, strategic alignment and integration of activities with all organizational functions across HP's Supply Chain. This highly visible role will draw upon expertise in business analytics, financial analysis, strategic planning and operational excellence to help the Chief of Staff manage the operating cadence for the worldwide organization. The Executive Operations & Governance Manager will also lead strategic projects on an as-needed basis - anything that is required to keep the organization running smoothly and to ensure the team is working towards the same objectives/outcomes.
In summary, this is a highly dynamic and scalable role; the Executive Operations & Governance Business Planner serves as a trusted go-to leader for HP's Supply Chain, and is someone who gets things done and works effectively across all levels of the organization.
The specific responsibilities of the role fall into two primary areas:
- Strategic management of the operational workflow for the CSCO's office:
- Equip the CSCO to lead effectively in key internal executive meetings and events by coordinating the longer-range calendar with the CSCO, the CSCO's Chief of Staff, the SC leadership and key cross-functional leaders across the organization.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across Supply Chain and across HP on inputs and materials needed for all executive forums and meetings.
- Partner with Supply Chain/HP Inc. support teams to coordinate in-person and virtual planning session agendas, logistics and preparation activities in support of all internal executive forums (All Employee Meetings, Board of Directors, CEO quarterly reviews, Supply Chain F2F and other Executive leadership meetings)
- Partner with Executive Assistant to the CSCO and key ELT support staff on agendas, logistics and materials to support external supplier/partner, press and investor engagements.
- Partner with Business Strategy leads to develop Master Business Objectives, goals and metrics for the Supply Chain including setting measures and targets with each L2 organization within Supply Chain that supports our broader Supply Chain priorities and strategic business objectives.
- Develop and consistently report monthly the Master Business Objective metrics and dashboards for the Supply Chain organization.
- Drive continuous improvement of operational processes to drive a high performance organization through development of repeatable processes and utilization of productivity tools (i.e. Teams, Smartsheet)
- Drive and/or support strategic cross-functional programs:
- Lead or support strategic projects as requested
- Track action items from key reviews and follow-up with owners to ensure action items are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Efficiently and effectively engage and influencing stakeholders at all levels across the PS organization to ensure success of these programs.
- Contribute to continually improving how these programs can be managed, executed and transitioned to the PS organizations to own and drive.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelors or Master's Degree or equivalent
- Typically 5+ years of relevant experience, including experience in Program Management, Staff Operations, Business planning.
Knowledge and Skills
- Proven track record of project/program leadership including leading global, cross-functional initiatives that impact the organization
- Proactively learns about evolving business needs through and extensive network
- Demonstrates strong critical and analytical thinking, analysis, problem solving skills, process orientation, and business acumen skills
- Understanding of key metrics and the impact on HP's overall financial results (e.g., inventory, days payable outstanding, etc.)
- Deep understanding of business fundamentals and operational rhythm for global organizations
- High degree of flexibility and the ability to work within a fluid, constantly changing environment
- Ability to develop external, and internal Executive level presentations
- Highly developed collaboration, relationship building, and communication skills
- Can read social engagements and is distinctly aware of his/her impact on others

- Proven ability to work with/influence across all levels and functions within the organization to achieve actionable results through others
