The Regional Operations Construction Executive: is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all actions to achieve or exceed profitability targets, operational efficiencies, and company objectives for the project management department.
Responsibilities:
Develop, improve, maintain, and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each position/function within the department. *
Effectively manage the day-to-day construction installation company operations. This includes maintaining all project budgets, and subcontractor relationships, working with the pre-construction team as necessary, and meeting all project plans and specification requirements. *
Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors. *
Implement new or modified plans in response to delays or construction site emergencies. *
Ensures that procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment for various projects is accurate, updated, and complete. *
Manage/attend daily meetings with the project management team to ensure clear direction and communication for all active projects and updates are provided. *
Effectively communicate directly with construction company ownership and project ownership to ensure a cohesive team throughout the lifetime of all various projects *
Foster and maintain a positive working environment for all company employees. *
Manage a team of Project Managers, Superintendents, and other field employees, supervising their work and providing guidance and support as needed. *
Ensure that all work is completed to the highest possible quality standards, by industry best practices and safety regulations. *
Conduct site inspections to identify and address potential issues or challenges as applicable. *
Create and maintain a safe (as per OSHA) and secure worksite with an on-site Superintendent and installation crews
Prepare regular progress reports and project documentation, including change orders, purchase orders, and daily progress reports. *
Reviewing & approving AIA contract agreements and payment applications to ensure bi-monthly/monthly invoicing is completed. *
Maintain accurate project documentation. *
Ensure Fill the DAILY project workbook in Builder Trend with notes and pictures is completed promptly. *
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, & Skills):
Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) from an accredited four-year College or University in construction management, engineering, or related field or Verified Field Experience.
Minimum of five (5-10) years experience in construction project management.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and oversee complex projects from start to finish.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
Proven leadership skills.
Ability to read and interpret project specifications and plans.
Proficient in project management software and tools, such as Micro Soft Project, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Certified for Admin Level Procore.
Proven ability to prep project scope, budgets, scheduling, etc.
Familiar with construction contracts and construction delivery strategies.
A solid understanding of construction processes, building codes, Construction safety practices, and industry standards is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential issues or challenges in a timely and effective manner.
Travel as needed.
Valid drivers license, acceptable driving record, reliable vehicle, & and proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage
