Responsible for the overall management, strategic planning, development, evaluation, and implementation of district safety, maintenance, custodial services, child nutrition, facilities, and transportation functions. Direct the mitigation, prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery phases of Safety and emergency management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree
Master's Degree, preferred
Clear and Valid Texas Driver's License
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of emergency operations management
Ability to interpret data and evaluate assigned programs
Ability to manage budget and personnel
Understanding of district and campus operations and emergency management
National Incident Management System ceritication required within 6 months of employment
I Love You Guys/Standard Response Protocal training required within 3 months of employment
Knowledge of local, state, and federal response protocol
Ability to implement policies, procedures, and applicable laws
Excellent Communication, public rellations, and interpersonal skills.
Experience:
3 years' experience in facilities, emergency, or operational department management; Safety and security experience considered in lieu of others
5 years' experience managing people
