Our client, a financial technology firm with offices in the US, Europe and Asia, are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join their Chicago team, supporting 7 of their most senior executives. They have a very hardworking culture, but also know how to have fun, and they are looking for an outgoing, go-getter to join the team. This will be a fully in-office role, in their brand new offices right in the center of Chicago.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing executives’ scheduling and appointments if needed, though most are fairly self sufficient with this.
- Booking executives’ personal and professional travel, mainly domestic but some international.
- Working on exciting projects such as the planning of events for individual teams and the wider company.
- Assisting executives in tasks and errands, both professional and personal.
- Preparing and reviewing documents; handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Facilitating and executing the shipments of documents and packages.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally in the legal or financial services industries.
- Highly organized, great time management skills, works well under pressure.
- Enjoys problem-solving and individual responsibility.
- Previous experience working in fast-paced environments.
- High levels of discretion and confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual meeting platforms.
