Currently POWER is looking to fill the role of Executive Administrative Assistant. The Executive Administrative Assistant fulfills an important role at POWER by providing the primary support to the CEO and COO which includes assisting with contracts, preparing reports preparation; implementing and maintaining effective and efficient office systems, processes and procedures; identifying, researching and resolving issues as they arise; coordinating various meetings including quarterly All-Agency Meetings; and scheduling travel arrangements. This position provides the administrative support necessary for day-to-day operations often requiring confidentiality, initiative and sound decision making. Often, this role includes providing guidance to the team of administrative support staff and working across the various programs and departments within the organization. The Executive Administrative Assistant reports to the CEO. This job summary is not all inclusive and will be subject to change based on the operational needs of POWER.
POWER is looking for a candidate who has a high sense of urgency and prioritization and high degree of reliability, confidentiality, discretion, quality work and professionalism with the ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality. Superior computer skills and thorough knowledge of and experience in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint with excellent organizational skills with a premium on attention to detail. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED plus at least three (3) years of experience in an administrative assistant position. (Associate or bachelor's Degree preferred.)
