Events Coordinator For Restaurant Group (Catering Focus)

We are seeking an experienced Events Coordinator to join our renowned Restaurant Group. With 4 thriving restaurants and a growing catering business, this is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our team. As an Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of event coordination, ensuring exceptional service and memorable experiences for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Actively Locate and Seek out New angles for events both off premise and drop off.
• Answer reviews and inquiries promptly, providing excellent customer service.
• Monitor and Respond to all emails pertaining to Events, and redirect emails not pertaining to their appropriate correspondence.
• Create custom estimates for clients and review them together.
• Schedule and conduct client tastings, showcasing our exceptional culinary offerings.
• Coordinate with clients and event planners for offsite and drop-off events, ensuring seamless execution.
• Work closely with the rental company to fulfill all client event needs.
• Collaborate with our Culinary Director and team to confirm menus for clients, considering their preferences and dietary requirements.
• Schedule team members for events, ensuring adequate coverage and outstanding service delivery.
• Secure necessary insurance, permits, and other documentation for events as required.
• Track and monitor labor and food costs for each event, ensuring profitability.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in event coordination or related roles.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Availability to work on-site at our Tribeca office from Monday to Friday, with weekend availability for events.

Pay: $62,400.00 - $120,000.00 per year
