Role Overview:
As an Events Coordinator you will be a face of fluxo, driving our mission forward through supporting our event hosting, and being a proactive 'on the ground' member of the outreach team, helping us find event partners and build lasting relationships. This role is perfect for a charismatic and energetic professional who is skilled in creating and directing events that engage and excite potential users and venues.

- Walking in a place during daytime hours and approaching business owners...
- Being enthusiastic in public (you don’t need to use the word “passionate” because…you embody it.)
- Not wanting to work from home, but waiting to work across the city - alongside people
Responsibilities:
- Identify and reach out to potential host venues, building relationships and securing locations for events
- Be the mood-setter, the enthusiasm behind out product, thus growing our list of venues and users
- Help plan, host, and manage events that effectively showcase fluxo's capabilities and benefits
- Attract and engage a target audience to events, enhancing their understanding and enthusiasm
- Showcase the fluxo product directly at events and show the value proposition to potential users/partners
- Drive the fluxo message, ensuring that each event captures the essence of the company’s goal
- Plan and direct 6 bi-weekly summer events across NYC, with the support of our existing team
- Educate attendees about new ways of working, and how fluxo facilitates these transitions smoothly
Qualifications/Experience:
- Proven experience as an event host or in a similar role involving public interaction/direct sales
- Public speaking experience
- Strong organizational and skills to manage multiple events smoothly
- Ability to adapt and respond effectively to challenges and on-the-spot changes at events
