Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Event Sales Coordinator to join our team at The Gideon Putnam in Saratoga Springs, New York. In this role, you will partner with clients, guests, and our food and beverage teams to create and execute events for our guests at The Gideon Putnam. You will also work closely with the Human Resources team at The Gideon Putnam to ensure associates participate in the necessary training and development that helps them to be successful in their roles.
Pay
$18.00 - $20.00 / hour

Responsibilities
Qualifying leads and forwarding inquiries to the appropriate Sales Manager
Overseeing amenity orders and distribution
Assisting the Sales & Services Team with filing important documents and communicating relevant information both internally and to clients
Responsible for the creation and distribution of the weekly food and beverage packet and daily change recaps
Keeping inventory of Sales Office supplies and communicating needs to the appropriate manager
Answering the office telephone and directing calls and messages to the appropriate Sales Manager
Assisting with event servicing as needed
Managing minutes of weekly leadership meeting
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Between 1 to 3 years experience in hospitality, sales or related field preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Teams, Word and Excel
Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of property management and reservation systems preferred
Ability to work some holidays, weekends and evenings
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
Ability to lift, balance and move up to 35lbs
