Event Director

We are a high-end floral and event design company located in West Palm Beach, FL seeking a talented individual to join our team in the role of Event Director. The Event Director role entails meeting with clients, creating comprehensive designs for events, writing proposals, creating moodboards, and overseeing all aspects of the event from conception to execution. The right individual will be a creative powerhouse who has a great eye and sense of design. This individual will be able to work independently on multiple projects, prioritize projects, meet deadlines and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. Must have outstanding time management, interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as exceptional attention to detail. Willingness to learn, collaborate and take direction and feedback is a must. Additional requirements for this role include:

• Experience working on special events, such as Weddings, Galas, Corporate Events, etc.
• Effectively communicate with clients and team members
• Ability to listen, design and execute events from the initial concept and see it through to completion
• Ability to design proposals and mood-boards for events of different sizes and styles
• Ability to design floor plans using Social Tables or similar software, or willingness to learn
• Proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and Canva
• Travel to venues for site visits and participate in vendor meetings
• Knowledge of Floral Design is preferred, but not required
• Ability to travel as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
