Social Media/Event Director

• Build and execute social media strategy through research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification. This will align to dealership promotions, events, KIA Cares
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action. **Knowledge of Canva or Adobe Illustrator for content creation is helpful
• Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content (Website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok)
• Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules through Hootsuite or a program similar
• Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
• Collaborate with other departments (BDC, sales, service, etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
• Knowledge of SEO analytics for website and tracking
• Attend events and produce live social media content.
• Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
• Active in the community and on behalf of Kia as an employee
• Receive and filter request for donations and contributions
• Attention to detail for event planning, and executing Kia related events
• Support leadership and management within the organization and administrative support for various projects.
• Maintain strong communication between general manager & community needs
• Coordinate communications for the office to employees for monthly birthday celebrations and family nights for employees
• Maintain executive schedules and oversee project load.
• Provide administrative support for the scheduling and implementation of special events
• Develop marketing material for KIA Cares
• Execute KIA Cares with local nonprofits on a bi-monthly schedule

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
