Event Coordinator

Event Coordinator:

Houston Funplex Event Coordinators create memorable celebrations by planning, organizing, and executing parties and events. Event Coordinators ensure customers receive exceptional service from a friendly staff in a clean, well-maintained facility. You ensure all party and event participants have a memorable experience from start to finish.

Duties:

· Exceptional customer service and communication skills

· Party planning

· Energy and enthusiasm

· Comfortable making cold calls

· Food & Beverage knowledge a plus

· Strong leadership skills – overseeing the event hostesses

· Works well under stress – great time management skills

· Strong problem-solving skills – problems will arise and need to be quick on their feet

· High in integrity, which means a strong commitment to their work

· Insightful, always looking for ways to be more efficient

· General knowledge of QuickBooks, DocuSign and Contracts

· Day, Night, Weekend, and Holiday availability

· Bi-lingual able to speak English and Spanish.

JOB TYPE:

· Hourly wage plus commission
