As a part-time Event Coordinator at Simply Events you'll be responsible for planning and executing weddings and corporate events. Your duties will include coordinating with clients, vendors, and venues, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring seamless event execution. With Simply Events experiencing rapid growth, you'll have the opportunity to be part of an expanding team and contribute to the success of various events in the Middle Tennessee area.
```Duties```
-Collaborate with clients to understand their event vision, preferences, and requirements
-Plan and coordinate all aspects of weddings and corporate events, including venue selection, catering, decor, entertainment, and transportation
-Create detailed event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth execution on the day of the event
-Communicate regularly with vendors to negotiate contracts, confirm services, and coordinate logistics
-Manage event budgets effectively, tracking expenses and ensuring financial goals are met
-Handle RSVPs, guest lists, and seating arrangements for events
-Provide on-site event management and coordination to oversee setup, execution, and breakdown
-Address any issues or concerns that arise during events promptly and professionally
-Maintain excellent customer service and communication with clients throughout the planning process
-Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and local regulations related to event planning
-Assist with marketing and promotional efforts to attract new clients and grow the business
-Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes and enhance the overall client experience
```Requirements```
Preferred two years experience of event planning, hospitality, or customer service. Must have a drivers license. Tennessee ABC license would be very helpful. Strong work ethic and ability to work solo on projects assigned. Majority of work will be on weekends, must be able to commit to those timelines.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
