The Difference You Will Make:  

The Events & Activations Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing a variety of events within our communities to fully activate all of the components of the community for our residents, guests, and the community at large. He / she will utilize our Home, Food and Beverage, Coworking, Wellness, and Coffee offerings, in conjunction with external partners and connections to maximize our resident and guest engagement.

Who You Are: 

  • Creativity is encouraged! This role must build a schedule of events utilizing a wide variety of partners to activate the site. 
  • Collaborates with all departments, including leasing team, food & beverage team, wellness team, etc. to plan a slate of events. 
  • Manage each event from conception to completion, including planning, set up, execution, and invoicing / revenue management. 
  • Understand the demographics and interests of each sites’ micro-market and target events accordingly
  • Work with Corporate Marketing to secure influencers and digital media and print publications to determine appropriate marketing for events
  • Drive revenue and overall engagement at the site level - resulting in increased customer satisfaction scores, traffic, and retention of customers
  • Creation of Managing site specific social media accounts including posts, content, and interaction, in partnership with our content marketing team. 
  • Partner with site leadership to craft responses to reputation management comments by site, both positive and constructive.
  • Invests deeply in the growth and success of self and others through LC's five leadership behaviors: Humility, Caring, Curiosity, Courage, and Grit.

What You’ll Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 1-3 years of marketing and events experience is necessary.
  • Maintain relationships with third party vendors and venues, including staying on the forefront of new and popular activities / brands, restaurants in a market
  • An independent, creative self-starter who routinely brings actionable ideas to the table. Can prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, Team player who can prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced quickly evolving environment.
  • Has an appropriate level of knowledge regarding email marketing, social media, copy writing and online brand reputation management.
  • Track event expenses and manage to a budget

Available to work events, including nights and weekends and travel to market locations as needed.
