Job Summary and Qualifications

The Events Coordinator  will provide administrative and logistical support for meetings and events for our CSG Nursing team. Duties include the ability to independently organize, manage, and implement program needs, streamline processes and develop toolkits to reflect best practices. The candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication, time management and organization skills.

General Responsibilities:

•Coordinate event logistics including but not limited to hotel room blocks, air travel, ground transportation, meeting space and catering while adhering to company processes and policies

•Serve as event-day liaison between all relevant stakeholders and manage the entirety of the program from set-up to tear-down

•Develop digital and print materials, agendas and relevant supplies

•Manage and track budget processes

•Maintain project documentation

•Develop toolkits for ongoing use

•Serve as point-person for company intranet site improvements. Ensure accuracy and relevance of content.

•Communicate clearly, proactively, and concisely with all key stakeholders

•Work independently with minimal supervision

•Manage multiple competing priorities

•Display a high degree of flexibility and use of judgement when resolving issues

•Respects confidentiality of data and communications encountered in the workplace

•Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment within and across departments

Experience & Education:

•A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years experience in hospitality, event or meeting planning required

•Proficient in Microsoft programs including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Forms, SharePoint, Visio

Special Qualifications:

Travel approximately up to 20%
