Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Assistant to join our team. The Event Assistant will play a crucial role in assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of various events. This position requires excellent time management skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Supporting the events manager with logistical and administrative support
- Maintaining records of all bookings e.g. venue and catering and taking payments where necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and attendees, ensuring their needs are met throughout the event
- Assisting with creative decisions
- Attending all meetings to act as a second point of contact
- Helping set up and dismantle events efficiently through to completion
- Create & distributes calendars, BEOs, and wedding packets
- Coordinates site visits and assists as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in events management or related field is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software is a plus
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
- Calculate figures and amounts.
- Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in stressful situations
- Stand, sit and walk for long periods of time or an entire shift, repetitive motions, climb stairs, balance, stoop, squat, bend, twist, kneel, reach, grasp and squeeze with both hands. Talk or hear; taste or smell.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move, carry, push and pull up to 30lbs
