SalaryBrazos Valley Equine Hospitals - Salado has an immediate opening on our team for a motivated individual to help us care for horses. We are a premier group of equine practices with multiple locations in Texas. We are a busy, interactive practice with over 70+ team members and we believe in our ability to help people through the care of horses. If you have a desire to help improve the lives of horse owners and help us to grow our business, we want to talk to you. We are seeking a team player to work with our veterinary staff and hospital technicians. Horse experience is required.
Applicants must be able to maintain routine physical activity, possess a steady personality, be able to build relationships with our clients, and have the ability to manage their time. Computer skills are a requirement. This is a busy and interactive position that will require communication and teamwork skills.
Duties include (but are not limited to)
- Answer phones
- Schedules in-clinic and ambulatory appointments
- Schedules surgery and imaging appointments
- Oversees doctor schedules
- Manages client and clinic paperwork
- Data entry
- Cleaning
This is a full time position working 4 days a week between Monday-Friday. Position may require you to staff late once a week. Experience with horses is preferred, but not required. This position is supported by additional receptionists, veterinarians, office manager, lead technician, hospital technicians, laboratory and pharmacy manager along with part time office and technical staff.
This position will work in the Salado office.
