We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Environmental Health and Safety team. The EHS Administrative Assistant will provide general administrative support to the EHS department members. Incumbent will also be responsible for documenting and maintaining training records, coordinate and schedule departmental meetings and produce minutes of these meetings, and handle communications with employees across the site of 1,500 current employees. Successful candidate will also be very comfortable with computers and learning new site specific software and CPU systems.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and communicate safety training including identifying class participants, schedule training rooms and notify participants.
- Update and maintain training records including safety information on the intranet.
- Provide general administrative support to the department including department meetings, production of agenda and minutes
- General data compilation and tracking
- Schedule and track routine inspections including but not limited to Ladder, Crane/Hoist, Industrial Trucks and Storm Water reporting.
- Other responsibilities as assigned

- Team player with exceptional customer service skills, integrity and ability to interact with all levels of personnel. Requires strong attention to detail and analytical skills as well as problem analysis and resolution. The employee is living the cultural

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a manufacturing cGMP environment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; (AS/BS in Safety, Business Administration preferred)
- Excellent MS office skills; Database management tools a plus; SAP experience a plus
