Job Description:
The Entertainment Operations Coordinator manages the daily operation of CyBowl & Billiards recreation center, including supervising 12-14 student employees, scheduling, timekeeping, providing customer service, scheduling mechanical repairs, providing fiscal control, sales oversight, inventory control and ordering food and beverages for CyBowl concessions, settling payments with customers and vendors, and scheduling classes and reservations. The Entertainment Operations Coordinator is responsible for supervising 6-10 Maintenance Shop (entertainment venue) student employees, and the majority of the Maintenance Shop bar operation, including timekeeping, training, scheduling, inventory control and supply ordering, sales oversight, settling customer and vendor payments as needed, and onsite supervision as warranted. This position is also responsible for coordinating rental events for student organizations, ISU departments, and third parties. The Entertainment Operations Coordinator is responsible for supervising 6-10 Cyclone Cinema student employees and the majority of the Cyclone Cinema concessions operation including timekeeping, training, scheduling, sales oversight, inventory control, and supply ordering for the Cyclone Cinema concessions as well as settling payments with vendors.
The successful candidate will have hospitality and/or event venue management experience; effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; ability to work with a diverse student body, faculty, staff and general public within a team environment; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; and knowledge of live entertainment productions.

Example of Duties
- Manages a program to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with the objectives of the university.
- Plans, monitors, and manages an internal or external project from initiation through completion.
- Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, and staffing for assigned program.
- Monitors and manages budget and ensures that the program meets the overall objectives of the university.
- Develops public relations initiatives, workshops, seminars, surveys, or other activities to promote the program and carry out its objectives.
- Acts as a representative of the program.
- Participates in project management.
- May secure external funding as needed.
