Responsibilities:
The Enterprise Asset Management Functional Manager is responsible for directing a team of analysts providing functional input / resolution to incidents, problems, requests (Level 2), functional prioritization, functional design of enhancements, complex system functionality, functional design of Power BI / COGNOS reporting, functional testing of configuration changes, new application features, and reports, design and analysis of data, and delivery of train the trainer (to divisional service team or the NYCT Learning Center at P.S. 248). The incumbent will:
- Direct functional input / resolution to incidents, problems, requests.
- Direct functional design of enhancements, complex system functionality.
- Direct functional design of Power BI / COGNOS reporting.
- Interact with MTA-IT's product development team to ensure coordinated effort and timely delivery of project items and bug fixes.
- Lead Department of Subways efforts to manage (functional, unit and QA testing) Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software upgrade on a quarterly cycle.
- Track software bugs and enhancements which require updates from Hexagon.
- Submit ideas for enhancements and attend biweekly meetings with Hexagon for updates.
Education and Experience:
- A Baccalaureate in business administration, finance, computer science, marketing, engineering or a satisfactory equivalent and a minimum of six (6) years of experience and at least three (3) years of which must have been in a managerial/supervisory capacity.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience from an accredited college may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Selection Method:
Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview.
All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MaBSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
